New University of Delaware Undergraduate Catalog Entry for the curriculum of the new concentration in Pharmaceutical Sciences

 

DEGREE: BACHELOR OF SCIENCE

MAJOR: BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES

CONCENTRATION: PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES

 

A faculty member with the assistance of the University of Delaware/Thomas Jefferson University joint admissions committee advises students in the Program. Requirements for admission are: (1) a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.3 and at least a 3.0 in all science courses, (2) completion of prerequisite courses with at least a C- in each course, and (3) acceptable PCAT scores (scores in the 70th percentile or higher are highly desirable).  Students meeting the above requirements must also submit a minimum of two letters of recommendation and a personal statement to the admissions committee. The admissions committee will interview select students as part of its determination of admission. Applications for admission are available in the Undergraduate Program Office, 115 Wolf Hall.
