Rationale:

HESC405, Rehabilitation of Athletic Injuries, is a critically important core course for student majors in Athletic Training. To provide expanded coverage of the topics included in the existing HESC405, we propose expanding the content of HESC405 into two, three credit courses—HESC405, Rehabilitation of Athletic Injuries I, and a new course, HESC406, Rehabilitation of Athletic Injuries II. This will enable more detailed coverage of the content, as well as additional time for students to practice and internalize the related skills.
