Challenge Approvals - Because there are over 500 courses listed in this year's
cycle, none of us will have time to review the whole list. But I'd like at
least two of us, preferably including one with some expertise in the area, to
take responsibility for every course. After much to-ing
and fro-ing, here's the division of labor I suggest.
I exempt Sarah and Joe because of their special positions in the university.
Arenson:
All Arts and Sciences courses in ART and MUSC.
Biederman: All courses in the Colleges
of Business and Economics, of Engineering, and all Arts and Sciences courses in
MATH.
Buttrey: All courses in the Colleges of
Agriculture and Natural Resources, of Engineering, and of Marine Studies, and
all Arts and Sciences courses in CHEM, CISC, GEOG, GEOL, MATH, and PHYS.
Courtright: All courses in University
Studies, and all Arts and Sciences courses in ART and COMM.
Hirsh: All courses in University Studies, and all Arts and
Sciences courses in ARTH, HIST, POSC, PSYC, and SOCI.
Johnson: All courses in the
Leitch: All Arts and Sciences courses in
ARTH, HIST, MUSC, POSC, PSYC, and SOCI.
Morrison: Al courses in the Colleges of Business and Economics, of
