Provost Dan Rich
Dr. Rich reported that he and Lou Hirsch met with the Joint Senate and House
General Assembly at the request of the University to discuss the
Lou Hirsch stated that the policy will help drive the high school curriculum in
Over 21,000 undergraduate applications have been received so far for fall 2006
enrollment. Applications are up for students of color. All qualified
The majority of out of state applicants are well qualified. No matter what a
student’s grade point average or SAT score, all applications and letters of
recommendation are read.
Dr. Rich added that there are 341 more students in the 2005 freshman class
compared to 15 years ago. The 341 additional students are all
