MINUTES

I. Old Business: Christine Kydd will attend the meeting concerning the BUAD 110 course – This was approved unanimously provided they drop the word “or” Comm212 to “to” Comm212 or submit another alternative to the course.

a. Revision to the major in Early Childhood Development and Education (attachment) (attachment) – Approved provided they submit an explanation for UNIV101

b. Add an Associates in Arts in Education degree option for the Southern Delaware Elementary Teacher Education Program (attachment) – Approved provided they drop the ED off the AA degree (see page 89 of the UG catalog).

c. Revision to the Educational Studies (EDS) minor (attachment) - Approved

II. New Business:

d. Revision to the breadth requirements for BA degrees in the college of Arts and Sciences (attachment) – Will invite Michael Aronson to the next meeting to answer questions and concerns.

e. Resolution to Establish a New Combined BS-MS Option in Exercise Science (attachment –1) – Will invite Susan Hall and James Richards to the next meeting to answer questions and concerns for this item along with f, g, and h.

f. Combined BS-MS Option in Exercise Science with Concentration in Exercise Physiology (attachment –1) (policy, attachment –2) – Same as “e” above

g. Combined BS-MS Option in Exercise Science with Concentration in Biomechanics (attachment –1) – Same as “e” above

h. Combined BS-MS Option in Exercise Science with Concentration in Motor Control (attachment –1) – Same as “e” above
