I. Old Business: Review of the Athletic Training major – elimination of ethics course CSCC241 (attachment)
This was disapproved by the committee because of the removal in the proposal of the previously required ethics course.

Request for a new undergraduate degree: BS in Psychology (attachment)
(14) – Dr. Ackerman, Chair of Psychology, will join us at
Brian Ackerman gave a summary. From the committee, CHEM 103/104 or CHEM 111/112 are recommended. The committee recommends that BISC 207/208 be required rather than BISC 103/104. This was agreed upon unanimously after discussion.
b. Revision to the concentration: Applied Music Piano AMP BMAS (attachment) – The committee reviewed old documents that were sent to the Faculty Senate by mistake. These are new documents sent to the Faculty Senate by Dr. Murray
The proposal was approved.
c. Revision to the major Music Theory Composition MTC BM (attachment) – Same as above
Approved as proposed.
d. Revision to all BA secondary Ed. programs in Arts and Sciences (attachment) (15)
Approved.
e. Revision to the undergraduate major and minor in Geography (attachment) (16,17,18)
Approved with the provision that the course listings for the old versus the new changes be placed in a side-by-side manner for comparison.
f. Revision to the BA degree in Geography Education
Approved with the provision that the course listings for the old versus the new changes be placed in a side-by-side manner for comparison.
g. Revision to the BA Honors degrees in Geography and Geography Education
Approved with the provision that the course listings for the old versus the new changes be placed in a side-by-side manner for comparison.
