AGENDA

I. Old Business:

a. Revision to the Bachelor of Arts, Psychology

APPROVED PENDING REVISION TO RATIONALE.

b. Revision to POSC major.

SENT BACK FOR REVISION OF RATIONALE.

II. New Business:

a. Multicultural recertification discussion

Review pairs were assigned (there are five pairs).

Each will review 14 proposals. Reviews are to be finished by Jan 28. Any courses not passed

by a pair should be listed and emailed to the Committee as a whole on the 28th. At our scheduled meeting on Tuesday, Feb 1, UGSC as a whole will

discuss each course that a pair found problematic and vote up or down on that course.

b. New classes in Arabic

UGSC voted to re-activate the inoperative courses contained in the “informal” proposal.

c. The chair will send an email to Harry Shipman

inquiring whether the FYE course

requirement/criterion has been defined.
