Whereas, the title European Studies better reflects modern-day Europe and is more intuitive to potential majors searching for information on the program, be it therefore

Resolved, that the Faculty Senate recommends that the name of the Continental European Studies interdisciplinary major be changed to European Studies, effective Fall 2008.
