List new courses required for the new or revised curriculum.
How do they support the overall program objectives of the
major/minor/concentrations)?
(Be aware that approval of the curriculum is
dependent upon these courses successfully passing through the Course Challenge list.
If there are no new courses enter “None”)
We are proposing to replace the three 1-credit modules
BUAD807, 808 and 809 with a new course BUAD877, “Skills for Change Agents”
which includes the contents of the previous three modules.
Explain, when appropriate,
how this new/revised curriculum supports the 10 goals of undergraduate
education: http://www.ugs.udel.edu/gened/
NA
Identify other units affected
by the proposed changes:
(Attach permission from the affected units. If no other unit is affected, enter “None”)
None
Describe the rationale for
the proposed program change(s):
(Explain your reasons for creating, revising, or deleting the
curriculum or program.)
Change from requiring three 1-credit modules (BUAD807, 808 and
809) to one 3-Credit course (BUAD877, Skills for Change Agents). We
discovered that it worked better to put the three modules together into a
single course. The course has been
offered as BUAD867 (experimental title) for three years. The new course with course description is
currently in the Faculty Senate course approval list and the prior modules are
listed for deletion.
Additionally, we have added a paragraph in the program History
section to clarify the goals of the program. This is in response to our PSPR
review.
Program Requirements:
(Show the new or revised curriculum as it should appear in the
Course Catalog. If this is a revision,
be sure to indicate the changes being made to the current curriculum and include a side-by-side comparison of
the credit distribution before and after the proposed change.)
