Amy Nagorski Johnson

The experiences of serving on the University Undergraduate Studies Committee over the years has prepared me well in understanding the significant role the Faculty Senate has in ensuring the highest quality education for our students. The UGS experiences, along with work with the General Education and Coordinating Committees, have given me the opportunity to understand the complexities of working with the academic community in facilitating the academic mission of the University of Delaware. The Senate provides the forum for working through issues that are central to all faculty and administration. It is my hope that, with the support of the Senate, I can serve in this important role and continue the vision of shared leadership.
