Rationale:
(Explain your reasons for creating, revising, or deleting the

HESC317, Strength and Conditioning Laboratory, was added as a
new course last year. The course serves as a co-requisite for HESC320,
Principles of Strength and Conditioning, which is already required in the
Figure Skating Coaching minor. HESC317 adds a practical, hands-on dimension to
students’ understanding of strength and conditioning concepts that will be
valuable for the students in the Figure Skating Coaching minor.
