Rationale:
(Explain your reasons for creating, revising, or deleting the
curriculum or program.)
HESC405, Rehabilitation of Athletic Injuries, is a critically
important core course for student majors in Athletic Training. To provide
expanded coverage of the topics included in the existing HESC405, we propose
expanding the content of HESC405 into two, three credit courses—HESC405,
Rehabilitation of Athletic Injuries I, and a new course, HESC406,
Rehabilitation of Athletic Injuries II. This will enable more detailed coverage
of the content, as well as additional time for students to practice and internalize
the related skills.
Program Requirements:
(Show the new or revised curriculum as it should appear in the
Course Catalog. If this is a revision, be
sure to indicate the changes being made to the present curriculum.)
