Describe the rationale for
the proposed program change(s):

curriculum or program.)
Change in University Breadth Requirements and changes in courses and course
identifiers from other departments. Due to the Division of the Department of
Health, Nutrition and Exercise Sciences, all former HESC courses are now BHAN
or KAAP. ThomasJeffersonUniversity has been consulted and has approved these
changes.
1.
KAAP305
(HESC305) has a proposed title change.
2.
KAAP430/431
(HESC430/431) is proposed to become merged into one four-credit course,
KAAP430.
3.
The
requirement for “Communication or Foreign Language Course” currently states 3-4
credits. It is only necessary to state 3
credits.
4.
The statement “Minimum grade of C- required” has been added or
moved clarify which classes have the requirement.
5.
The
6 credits for Creative Arts and Humanities has been to split to 3 each from
this category and History and Cultural Change.
6.
The
total minimum credits required has been changed from “91-92” to “91” to adjust
for the change to the “Communication of Foreign Language” requirement listing.
