The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is converting CHEM213, Elementary Organic Chemistry, (4 credits), into CHEM 213, Elementary Organic Chemistry, (3 credits), plus CHEM215, Elementary Organic Chemistry Lab (1 credit). Since CHEM213 has been a required course for the Medical Technology major, we wish to now require CHEM213 plus CHEM215, resulting in no change in our requirements for the major and no change in the number of required credits for the major.
