Program Changes
1.
Delete
Department of BHAN Breadth Requirements. This change is being proposed in order
to maintain curricular alignment with the other programs in the Department. It also facilitates ease of advisement by
eliminating confusion between University and Department breadth requirements. The
proposed change has no effect on the HPE program’s accreditation by the
National Council on Accreditation for Teacher Education (NCATE).
2.
KAAP
301 (3) is currently proposed by the Department of Kinesiology and Applied
Physiology for revision to 4 credits.
This course is a required course in the program of study for all Health
and Physical Education majors. The
proposed increase to 4 credits increases the total number of credit hours for
degree completion from 120 credits to 121 credits.
Program Requirements:
(Show the new or revised curriculum as it should appear in the
Course Catalog. If this is a revision,
be sure to indicate the changes being made to the current curriculum and include a side-by-side comparison of
the credit distribution before and after the proposed change.)
