I. Announcements: Amy will give update on Breadth

II. Old Business:

A. Guest Speakers Dr. Jones and Sharon Neal will attend the meeting to update the Executive Committee on the Diversity Task Force

III. New Business:

A. November Faculty Senate Meeting Speakers and Presenters: Provost,will make remarks, Vice President for Finance Robert Specter who will make a presentation on Responsibility-Based Budgeting (RBB) with participation by Budget Director Carol Rylee and Assistant Provost Peggy Bottorff.

B. Other Guest Speakers for November: Amy would like to discuss other November presenters/speakers

C. Proposal to split two departments in the college of Health Sciences (http://www.facsen.udel.edu/sites/Colleges/HNS/SEPT2008HNESDepartmentSplitAPA.form.pdf )

D. Proposal to amend the membership language for the Senate Committee on General Education to read: “Provost or Designee”. This will replace the “Director of Undergraduate Studies” language as that position was eliminated.
